Only four houses down from Miss Bobo’s Boarding House Restaurant in the Historic District, this quaint cottage provides the perfect ambiance for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. With space for 6 guests, this lovely cottage includes 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a Sleep Number bed in the Master, beautiful fireplace in the den, upgraded kitchen and a new washer and dryer.
Spend your evenings in the courtyard which boasts an over-sized fireplace, large hot tub and seating for 6 with a backyard that is completely fenced in for your pets.

The gas logs in the fireplace inside the house are remote controlled. The fireplace outside is a wood burner. All the firewood and starters are provided. If you are in the mood to grill out, we have provided a nice gas grill to be used in the courtyard.

Please start the dishwasher before you leave, put all trash in the outside can and hang up any wet towels.
Please don’t strip the beds and start the laundry, it may be several hours before the cleaning crew arrives.
We ask that you do not let your pets on the furniture or bedding unless you use extra pet blankets that can be washed. We also ask that your pets be crated or left in the fenced in areas while you are away. If there are any damages to the house or furniture, we will ask you to reimburse for these expenses.
You must also acknowledge
Must climb stairs - The master bedroom/bath and the second bath are on the ground floor, the other two bedrooms and one bath is upstairs.

Fees and Cancellations
Taxes and Fees

Cancellations
- · For a full refund of accommodation fees, cancellation must be made five full days prior to listing’s local check in time (or 3:00 PM if not specified) on the day of check in. For example, if check-in is on Friday, cancel by the previous Sunday before check in time.
- · If the guest cancels less than 5 days in advance, the first night is non-refundable but 50% of the accommodation fees for remaining nights will be refunded.
- · If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the accommodation fees for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.

“My husband and I met our daughter there for the weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday, and enjoyed every moment. From the warm, cozy feeling of the cottage itself, the attention to detail in every room to the outdoor hot tub & fireplace, everything was awesome. We loved sitting in the family room/living area enjoying the fireplace & watching a movie on the big television above the fireplace. The couch and loveseat were very comfortable. We cooked meals in the kitchen and outside on the grill. We were able to enjoy a tour of the Jack Daniel Distillery and browse the shops around the town square without taking up a lot of time to travel to and from allowing us to enjoy our stay at the cottage. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Lynchburg, TN.”

"My adult kids and I spent Christmas 2017 at the cottage. It was one of the best trips I've ever had with them. The cottage met our needs perfectly. Three separate bedrooms and three bathrooms allowed us to have our own space. The den was a great gathering place with ample couch space in front of the warm fire. We enjoyed the hot tub once or twice daily. It was rainy most of our trip so we were only able to enjoy the outdoor fireplace on Christmas day. We cooked in a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed. This was definitely one of my favorite Home Away rentals ever."

"Kitchen and outdoor courtyard were our favorites. Outdoor fireplace was a lovely location to spend after dinner evening. Very dog friendly location. Helpful to let future guests know about neighborhood cat that is fed from and hangs out in outdoor space. Very allergic and had to find pharmacy quickly. Did not take away from overall experience. Stay and enjoy!"

"This house was the perfect spot for a weekend get away to tour the distillery. We had two couples and we had plenty of privacy because of the bedrooms upstairs and on the main floor. We really enjoyed the private courtyard with the hot tub and outdoor fireplace. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. The house was very clean and comfortable.
Fran, the property manager, stayed in touch with me over the weekend to make sure everything was going ok. She even gave us suggestions for dinner and made sure we knew that the restaurants close early on Sunday evenings.
We would highly recommend this rental!"

"The Distillers Cottage is a travelers dream!
The house is fully stocked and decorated beautifully.
My cousin and I moved in on a Sunday and hosted a ladies crafting family reunion for a week. We made crafts, told stories, caught up with each other's lives, and just loved on each other. We cooked homemade meals, baked bread, and made desserts until we all are ready to "start" our diets."

"Such a warm host that made sure every detail was handled for us. Incredibly comfortable space with all the amenities and more. Walking distance from the distillery and just a few hundred feet off the main town square. The only reason we didn't enjoy the outdoor fireplace and hot tub more was the 100 degree weather! You won't find a better spot to stay while in Lynchburg."

"Property was great, clean, and house had a lot of updates. Also we had our dog sitter cancel and were able to bring our 4 with us. So that was a plus.
The things that needs work is clarifying what is rented and privacy.
We rented the home for 3 nights, upon arrival we discovered the upstairs was locked and we were told when 2 people stay the upstairs is locked and the downstairs is sufficient. After texting the property manager the upstairs was opened. This should be stated in the description that when less people stay you get less.
Also when we got there I received a message from the property manager to close a gate at the home, this caused a awkward feeling of being looked over. Then we had a pest control guy let himself into the backyard without notice, my dogs were going outside and he went to spray them luckily they didn't get any on there face. Not 3 hours after this another contractor pulls into the driveway and states he's there to pressure wash.
As a previous vrbo property owner, I understand the business but these are things that should be addressed for future guests."

"Simply Great!
It's within walking distance of downtown and Miss Mary BoBo's (be sure and have lunch there). The house was spotless and fully furnished. We were very comfortable, WiFi worked great. We were able to "check in" with a few simple text messages while we were touring the Jack Daniels Distillery and then went straight to the house and crashed (after a full day). Owner was very easy to work with."

"This home was an awesome find in Lynchburg, TN. The house was so clean and had so many items already available to make our stay comfortable and so very enjoyable. You can walk to the Jack Daniels distillery and all the shops. All the people are so nice and welcoming. The home was so cozy and decorated so lovely. It was so quiet in the evenings. The hot tub and fireplace area was private and beautiful. Great place for friends to hang out and share in fun and laughter. Bring ingredients for s'more making! So much fun! Loved we could bring our puppy. She loved the big fenced in backyard. We never ran out of hot water and there's plenty of kitchen utensils for cooking up a great dinner. We highly recommend this home. You can't beat it! We KNOW we will be back!"

"We have booked through VRBO many times and have never been disappointed and this was no exception. This was a wonderful home that had everything you could possible need and they were great people to work with. We had a last minute dog sitting situation and we were able to bring our dogs with us to a safe place with a completely safe environment. The yard and patio with outdoor fireplace was wonderful for January. The kitchen lacked for nothing and the shower was wonderful. The town was a delight and there is not enough nice things to say about Mrs. Mary Bobo's boarding house for lunch. I have cooked southern cooking my entire life and I could definitely learn a few things from her kitchen. This is by far my favorite vacation rental of all time and we hope to rent this again."

"We rent pet friendly houses for long weekends or special occasions two or three times a year and this is definitely our top pick! The hot tub in the cortyard is HUGE and there is an outdoor fireplace with lots of seating. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of cookware and the pantry and fridge had spices and condiments you don't usually find in a vacation rental. The fireplace in the living room keeps it nice and toasty while you relax on the super comfy couches (pet covers provided in the master walk-in if needed). If you have any questions or problems, Fran is basically at your fingertips. Can't wait to go back!"

"Perfect location does not adequately describe The Distiller's Cottage. We were able to lunch at the famous Miss Mary Bobo's, shop downtown Lynchburg, tour the Jack Daniel's Distillery, and even visit Jack Daniel's burial site without ever moving our car. Additionally, The Distiller's Cottage location allowed us to take advantage of the short drive (approx.15 minute) to great hiking and lovely waterfalls at Short Springs Natural Area, just outside of Tullahoma. "

"The cottage is charming, decorated beautifully and very comfortable. We used it for a romantic getaway. We loved the outdoor fireplace (within a brick courtyard). Everything is modern; the kitchen has loads of cabinet space and is a delight to cook in. One could easily have 6 people there; the living room has plenty of seating, and there are 2 upstairs queen beds and 1 downstairs king bed. Really liked everything about our stay-- the layout of the house, the furniture, the courteous owners. As others have said, it's within walking distance of local attractions. We trekked out to Tim's Ford State Park lake; it was 20 minutes away. We had a splendid time in Lynchburg, TN. We've recommended this location to others and we'd love to come again!"

"Our family enjoyed the cottage's proximity to downtown. Tims Ford Lake/park/trail; Rutledge Falls; Beechcraft Museum; and, Jack Daniels Distillery were the highlight of our vacation! The cottage offered all the comforts of home- comfortable beds, fully-equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, clean and neat bathrooms as well as well-appointed furnishings.
